So kids make life so interesting. The kids at school use the Lord's name in vain so frequently that Sarah slipped the other day and said it too. What ensued was a long conversation about what it means to take His name in vain and why we shouldn't do that. Since then, we have been relatively vain free.
Well, yesterday while getting dinner ready, Ross came to me and said,"Mom, Rylee is taking MY name in vain!" He then proceeded to show me with tone and voice inflection how it sounded when he said it. "Ross Hawley!" I know that he was truly serious about the grievous offense.
