Rylee turned five on February 1st! He picked his own cake and frosting and the car to decorate it with. In this picture he has blown out one candle and is working on the others. He was thrilled to finally turn five. We love you Rylee.

While visiting Jeannine and Don's house one day, these two apparently couldn't handle one more minute without sleep. I thought it was a great picture so I wanted to share it.
Things here are going well. The kids are growing like weeds and getting excited for spring and summer. We have had some nice sunny warm weather lately and all the neighborhoods are just filled with kids outside enjoying the sunshine.
I wanted to share a funny thing that happened the other day. Rylee and Ross were sitting at the table. Ross said something to Rylee and he started giggling. Ross said,"It's not funny." So Rylee looked at Ross and said,"Oh it is. And I know funny. I'm a clown fish!" A line from Finding Nemo and used in a perfect spot in the conversation. That's one smart five year old.
Sarah and Ross are taking basketball lessons and they are both getting good. I enjoy watching them play and learn.
Cameron and Ally are both working hard to stay on top of things at school. I think they both appreciate a day off and the weekends too.
Taylor is on the countdown for leaving for boot camp. He leaves March 17th and I am really excited for him but truly mourning the phase of life where all my children are safely under our roof at night. It is so hard to let go even though that is what we as parents aim for. In the meantime, we try to spend time together and give him as many hugs as possible.
Have a great day everyone!
